Most of the 108 owners of illegal buildings on Kalibaru Riverbank, RW 01 and 07, Tengah Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta already dismantle their buildings. The rest, about 88 other buildings were given the opportunity until Saturday (3/12).

Afterwards, it will conduct the demolition towards buildings that have not been dismantled.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, Eka Darmawan disclosed, whole building must be dismantled due to violate Bylaw No. 8/2007 on Public Order.

To owner, his side sent third warning letter and was given deadline until March 12.

"Of the 180 buildings, 88 out of them are not yet dismantled. If they ignore our warning, we will act then," he stressed, Monday (2/29).

He hoped, East Jakarta Water Management and Bina Marga Sub-dept could assist his side in sustaining land from street vendor after demolition.
